A British woman has vanished after meeting a man on a solo sightseeing trip 5,000 miles away from home.
Katherine Esther Gamboa Kerwood disappeared without a trace after travelling to the US alone.
The 21-year-old was last seen on CCTV with a man who she first met in the UK, as reported by Need To Know.

The footage was taken at the San Francisco International Airport, after she travelled there from London.
The family of the woman, from Portsmouth, claimed they haven’t heard from her since Friday (3 Apr).
Loved ones have stated that it is unusual for her to go quiet and not update them.
The 21-year-old arrived at the airport on 31 Mar, where her travel plans included stops in Sacramento, Calaveras Big Trees State Park, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz.
A text from Katherine sent that same day claimed she was at a hostel in Sacramento – which she never checked into.
The CCTV footage showed her being greeted at the airport by a man holding flowers.
He has been identified only as David.
The San Francisco Police Department and authorities in the UK have been informed about the disappearance.
Katherine’s information has been uploaded to a statewide law enforcement database by officials to alert officers across California.
Her return flight home is scheduled for Wednesday (8 Apr).
