A finance influencer who pocketed more than $23million in an illegal investment scam has been jailed for six years.
Tyler Bossetti, 31, was handed a 72-month sentence after admitting wire fraud and helping file false tax returns.
The Ohio-based influencer ran the scheme through his company Boss Lifestyle LLC between 2019 and 2023.

He used social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube to lure in investors – promising eye-watering returns of 30 per cent or more.
But prosecutors say it was all a con, as reported by Need To Know.
Bossetti raked in more than $23million from dozens of victims across the US and abroad – with investors ultimately losing over $11million.

Court documents revealed he spent the cash on a lavish lifestyle, including rent on a luxury downtown Columbus flat, frequent travel, a £120,000 Mercedes SUV and cryptocurrency investments.
He also filed around 14 false IRS 1099-INT forms – falsely claiming investors had earned and reinvested interest when they hadn’t.
Bossetti was charged in April 2025 and pleaded guilty two months later.
He is due to begin serving his sentence in July.
