A clumsy commuter face-planted on to train tracks while distracted on her phone.
The railway operator released the images to show that a “moment of distraction can cost your health or even your life”.
According to reports, the woman was seen talking on her phone next to the edge of the platform.

As she ended her call, she stepped forwards and fell on to the tracks face first.
The young woman reportedly struck her head on the rail.
The accident took place at the Gdańsk Rębiechowo railway station in Gdańsk, Poland.

Fortunately, the woman managed to get to her feet and take a seat on a nearby bench with minor injuries, as reported by Need To Know.
The station manager, who was on the platform after finishing his shift, called the emergency services and stayed with the woman until an ambulance arrived.
A Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway spokesperson said: “We would like to thank the employee at Polregio, the carrier operating the line, for his exemplary attitude, empathy, and responsibility.

“We don’t know if the passenger was planning to cross the tracks in a prohibited area or simply lost focus while talking on her phone.
“We know one thing – this situation could have ended tragicall.!
“Therefore, we appeal to all passengers to only use designated crossings and passageways.

“Do not cross the yellow safety line on platforms.
“And use your phone in a way that does not distract from your surroundings.”
They added: “Stop a moment, look around, and put away your phone in situations that require your full attention – it could save your health and even your life.”
