A social media influencer was snapped living it up on a rooftop bar just days before allegedly trying to smuggle £150,000 worth of cannabis into the UK.
Ellie Crampsie is now facing jail after Border Force officers caught her returning from a trip abroad with drugs in her suitcase.
The 23-year-old shared a glam snap from a Bangkok rooftop bar, saying she wanted to stay there “forever”.

The photo showed the beauty influencer posing outside the Mercure Hotel in a white outfit with a gold shoulder bag.
It was posted on 11 April last year – just five days before she flew home, as reported by Need To Know.

But her holiday soon took a dramatic turn.
On 16 April 2025, Crampsie arrived at Edinburgh Airport on an Air France flight from Thailand via Paris.
She was stopped by customs officers who discovered vacuum-sealed bags of cannabis hidden in her luggage.
A total of 17 packages were found, containing around 17.7kg of the Class B drug.
At Edinburgh Sheriff Court on 26 March, prosecutor Emma Laing said the haul was worth between £115,000 and £151,000.

Crampsie, from Glasgow, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug at the airport on 16 April 2025.
Since her arrest, she has made her social media accounts private.
Her profiles had featured posts promoting tanning brands, music events and luxury holidays.
She is due to return to court later this month.
