A TV presenter has shed 8.5st to become a two-time bodybuilding champion.
Martina Reuter, who used to refer to herself as a “curvy icon”, became a double-gold champion after her incredible 20-month weight loss journey.
The presenter, who once weighed 18st 1lb (115kg) has seen the numbers on the scale drop to 9st 10lb (62kg) following an intensive overhaul of her lifestyle.

Martina, a well-known face on SAT.1 and ORF on Austrian television, took first place in both the Fit Model and Beginner Cup categories at the IFBB Diamond Cup in Klagenfurt, Austria, last month.
Addressing the inevitable speculation surrounding rapid celebrity weight loss, Martina said her physique was built solely through grit and “old-school” discipline.
She said she accomplished her goals “without pills or injections”.

Her success is attributed to a strict nutritional plan and training five times a week under the guidance of professional coaches.
She said: “I wanted to see what was possible with my body at 46.”
Her transition was not without professional risk.
For years, Martina was a celebrated figure in the “curvy” modelling world, frequently appearing in fashion segments as a champion of plus-size style.
As the weight fell away, she reportedly lost several lucrative contracts specifically tied to her former measurements, as reported by Need To Know.

However, the presenter insists the trade-off was worth it.
“I feel more energetic and healthier than I did in my 20s,” she noted following her win.
The Fit Model category focuses on muscle tone and stage presence rather than extreme mass, making her a sudden inspiration for women in her age demographic.
Organisers of the IFBB Austria Diamond Cup noted that Reuter’s participation has brought significant mainstream attention to the sport.
She now plans to balance her TV career with her new role as a fitness advocate, proving that a “total reinvention” is possible well into middle age.
