She expressed her profound grief, stating that Olteanu would “never leave her heart”.
She added: “I will love you forever, my love.”
According to reports, the designer had been struggling with deteriorating health for some time before succumbing to his condition.

In the days leading up to his death, Olteanu posted a poignant final message to his fans, admitting he was “waiting for a bit of peace” after a period of intense physical suffering.
He was widely respected for his innovative approach to footwear and clothing, often blending avant-garde aesthetics with deeply personal or social narratives.
Eugen first gained international attention for his thought-provoking collections, most notably a series inspired by the 2015 Colectiv nightclub tragedy in Bucharest.
During the show, which resembled a tragedy-stricken venue, models walked the runway wearing isothermal blankets resembling those used on the burn victims.

The show drew widespread criticism at the time but cemented his reputation as a bold, nonconformist talent.
Tributes have since poured in from colleagues and celebrities across the Romanian arts community, describing him as a “gentle soul” and a “restless creative force.”
Pop singer Sorana Darclee Mohamad described him as a “little brother” whose “phenomenal humour” and creative energy had enriched her life, recalling laughter-filled photo shoots and shared celebrations.
She also praised his children as “masterpieces – strong, beautiful, with brilliant minds” and vowed that “Eugen Olteanu is forever”.
No cause of death has been made public.

Sources close to the family indicate a private service will be held in the coming days, as reported by Need To Know.
His legacy is expected to live on through his namesake brand, which continued to influence younger generations of designers up until his untimely death.
He is survived by his wife and immediate family, who have requested privacy as they navigate this difficult period of mourning.
