A fitness champion was allegedly shot dead at point-blank range with a hunting rifle by his girlfriend’s former partner.
Dmitry Isayev died on Thursday night (7 May) after reportedly going to meet the man.
Dmitry, 35, and his girlfriend had only been together for a short time at the time of the attack.

He reportedly died at the scene from his injuries after being shot several times with a hunting rifle in Kaluga, Russia.
A 41-year-old man has been arrested, along with a second man.
Their identities have not been confirmed at the time of the latest update.
A friend of the deceased described it as an “irreparable loss”, as reported by Need To Know.

Dmitry was described in local reports as a Russian national champion in functional fitness, a CrossFit-style discipline involving high-intensity, full-body workouts.
He regularly competed in these events and also worked as a personal trainer.
He had also graduated from Kaluga State University.
A friend told local media: “He was a wonderful person – very kind, open, warm-hearted.
“You could always hear his laughter right across the gym.
“About a year and a half ago, he not only trained but also became a coach.
“It was his second job: his main profession was security work, but he successfully combined both roles.”
