A young rider is reportedly fighting for his life after being trampled by a bucking bull.
Shocking footage of the incident shows the huge animal being prepared while tied to railings separating the arena from dozens of spectators.
One man was seen climbing onto the railing before lowering himself onto the bull’s back.

The animal was then released and immediately began bucking furiously, flinging the rider around like a rag doll.
Seconds later, the young man slipped, became tangled in a rope and ended up dangling by one leg as his face was dragged through the sand.
The MC could be heard shouting “help him” over the speaker system as the bull repeatedly trampled the rider.
By the time help arrived, he was lying motionless on the ground.
Several men lifted him up and rushed him out of the arena to receive medical treatment.
The horror unfolded during a jaripeo – a traditional Mexican bull-riding event – in Santa María Yalina, Mexico, on Sunday (3 May), as reported by Need To Know.
The event was part of annual celebrations honouring the Holy Cross.
The young rider, who has not been named, is reportedly a member of the Tierra Sagrada ranch.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he reportedly remains in critical condition with a guarded prognosis.
One viewer commented: “After everything they put the animal through and the way they mistreat it, it turns out the human is the bigger beast.
“I hope he recovers and learns his lesson. Animals aren’t meant for entertainment.”
