A tourist has vanished at sea after falling from a kayak into strong currents and thick fog without wearing a life jacket.
Rob Borgmann’s desperate family are now pleading with locals to help find the missing dad as emergency services continue searching the waters off Krabi, Thailand.
The traveller disappeared after reportedly falling from his kayak during a trip out to sea near the popular tourist areas of Railay Beach and Ao Nang, as reported by Need To Know.

It has now been three days since the 64 year old was last seen, leaving his daughter fearing the worst.
The incident happened on Saturday (16 May) at around 1:30pm local time.
Rob, from Amsterdam, is described as having curly hair, glasses and a small amount of facial hair.

Since his disappearance, rescue boats and divers have been deployed across the area in an urgent search operation.
His daughter, Claartje Borgmann, is now begging local boat owners and tourists to help in the search effort.
Claartje said: “My father went missing in the sea near Railay and Ao Nang, Krabi, 16 May around 13:30 local time after falling from a kayak.
“No life jacket. Strong current and fog.
“Rescue boats and divers are searching.
“If anyone is in the area, owns a boat, saw anything, or has information, please contact me urgently or local rescue.
“Please share.”
During monsoon season, which runs from May to October, the waters around Krabi are known for dangerous rip currents and heavy waves.
