A millionaire bodybuilder has died from a massive blood clot in his lungs at the age of 38.
Fitness entrepreneur Prateek Yadav collapsed at house in front of shocked family members.
The emergency services arrived promptly at his luxury home in Lucknow, India, on Wednesday morning (13 May).

The gym chain owner was rushed to a nearby hospital, but reportedly died from a cardiorespiratory collapse caused by a massive pulmonary thromboembolism.
Civil Hospital director Dr. GC Gupta said: “He was brought to the hospital and, despite all efforts by the medical team, he was officially declared dead at 5.55am.”
Prateek, who had 1.4m Instagram followers, built a vast real estate empire and owned a £390,000 custom Lamborghini, according to reports.

Two gym chains, Iron Core Fit and The Fitness Planet, featured imported equipment and premium memberships.
He was the youngest son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, as reported by Need To Know.
An MBA graduate from Leeds University, he avoided active politics despite his family background, and frequently shared workout videos and fitness tips on social media.
The sudden demise of an exceptionally fit athlete sent shockwaves through the bodybuilding community and triggered urgent health warnings regarding deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

Medical records revealed that he had been secretly battling high blood pressure and recurring blood clotting issues for up to five years.
Medanta Hospital associate director Dr. Ruchita Sharma said she had been treating Mr Yadav for long-standing hypertension and pulmonary embolism.
She stated that the patient had been admitted to the ICU days prior, but had checked himself out against strict medical advice.
She added that “he was already on blood thinners” and was “fully aware of his medical issues”.
The autopsy also revealed six unexplained ‘antemortem’ injuries on his chest and arms, which occurred between one and seven days before his death.
Forensic experts have preserved the victim’s heart and clot material for histopathological testing alongside a full chemical viscera analysis.

Prateek is survived by his wife, BJP leader Aparna Yadav – with whom he had two children and a recently reconciled relationship after a brief public discord – and other family members.
His mother, Sadhana Gupta, passed away in 2022.
Experts note pulmonary thromboembolism often stems from clots in the legs that travel to the lungs, with risk factors including immobility, though it can affect even fit individuals.
Symptoms include sudden shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat and dizziness; prompt treatment with blood thinners is critical.
Post-mortem ruled out unrelated speculation such as steroid use.
Independent health specialists are using the tragedy to warn gym-goers against ignoring subtle warning signs like breathlessness, which are often dismissed as routine workout fatigue.
