A dog owner allegedly faked a heart attack while being arrested after her pets mauled a woman, 50, to death.
Linda Cutler was taken into custody after her two dogs launched a horrific attack on neighbour Jodi Cowan.
The brutal mauling happened on 19 May while the victim was walking her own dog near her home.

Authorities say the dogs, named Max and Mako, escaped from Cutler’s fenced property before attacking the 50-year-old woman in Cocoa, Florida.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said the dogs “brutally attacked and mauled” Cowan before dragging her across the ground.

Jodi was airlifted to hospital following the horror ordeal but sadly died from her injuries hours later.
Cutler, 29, was arrested on 27 May and charged with manslaughter, as reported by Need To Know.
During a press conference, Sheriff Ivey claimed the dog owner pretended to suffer a heart attack as officers moved in to arrest her.
Authorities allege Cutler knew the dogs had become increasingly aggressive and had escaped multiple times before the fatal attack.
Investigators also say the dogs had previously bitten another person.
According to police, Cutler had attempted to reinforce the fencing around the property, but holes remained which allowed the dogs to escape.
At the time of the attack, Cutler was reportedly staying at a beach hotel.
Video released by the sheriff’s office showed the moment she was escorted into jail.
“Hope you enjoyed your time at the beach because you’re not going to be going back,” Sheriff Ivey told her.
“What is the purpose of that?” Cutler responded.
“A woman is dead and two dogs are about to be euthanized because of your uselessness,” the sheriff replied.
Officials confirmed both dogs will be euthanised.
Authorities also revealed there had been previous complaints involving the animals dating back to 2024.
