An angry passenger has bitten a female police officer on the arm after forcing her way onto a low-cost flight without paying for excess baggage.
The woman refused to settle the matter of her overweight hand luggage at the gate and ignored airline staff who blocked her from boarding the aircraft.
She reportedly slipped past the control point and entered the plane anyway, just minutes before the scheduled departure.

But airport cops were called onboard to remove her.
She allegedly turned nasty and sank her teeth into the right arm of a female assistant officer.
The incident unfolded at the Jorge Newbery Airpark in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Tuesday (2 Jun).
The passenger allegedly assaulted the cop on low-cost JetSmart flight JA 3104 bound for Córdoba.
Other passengers filmed the ugly scenes on their phones as officers struggled to restrain the woman inside the cabin.
Some travellers were seen applauding from their seats as the disruptive passenger was finally led off the plane.
The woman reportedly sustained minor injuries during the arrest and was taken to the airport’s medical centre, as reported by Need To Know.
The flight eventually departed after a brief delay.
JetSmart had been carrying out strict hand-luggage checks at the gate, even asking passengers to remove jackets to prevent hidden items.
The airline has not issued a public statement on the matter.
The National Criminal and Correctional Federal Court No 3 ordered the woman’s detention and took statements from the affected officer, the shift supervisor and JetSmart crew who witnessed the events.
No charges have been formally announced yet, but the case remains under federal judicial review.
