Two elderly women were filmed brawling with their walking aids in a coffee shop.

They apparently traded blows, grappled on the floor, and continued fighting despite bystanders attempting to break it up.

The dramatic coffeeshop altercation left one OAP hospitalised.

Video footage showed the pair, one wielding a walking stick and the other using a personal mobility aid (PMA), arguing in the cafe.

The physical altercation began when the woman in green apparently poked her opponent with her walking stick.

The second woman rose from her PMA, attempted to snatch the stick and threw a punch, prompting both to lose balance and tumble to the floor.

The pair continued sparring on the ground, exchanging slaps, grappling and pulling hair as onlookers tried to separate them.

One bystander pulled the green-clad woman’s hair while another restrained her opponent’s arm, but the fighting persisted with further face-smacking and arm-grabbing.

The brawl took place in a coffeeshop in Serangoon, Singapore, on Monday (22 Jun).

Singapore Police Force officers responded to a call for assistance at Block 261 Serangoon Central at about 7.55pm, as reported by Need To Know.

A 69-year-old woman was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital by members of the Singapore Civil Defence Force, which was alerted at around 8.25pm.

A 65-year-old woman sustained minor injuries but declined hospital treatment.

Serangoon Central is a residential area in north-east Singapore known for its bustling coffee shops and hawker centres, popular gathering spots for locals.

Police have not disclosed the cause of the original dispute.

One local report claimed the row was over an alleged incident of infidelity.

Both women are assisting with ongoing police investigations; no arrests have been reported.
