The body of a 25-year-old model has been found embracing her pet dog beneath the rubble of a collapsed apartment building.
The tragic discovery was made at the Moisés building in the San Bernardino district of Caracas, Venezuela, on Tuesday (30 June) night.
Emergency crews had been carrying out intensive search operations at the block of flats since the twin earthquakes struck on 24 June.

According to local reports, Oriana Ustariz was the last person still missing from the building.
The last time anyone heard from her was when she went out to walk her dog, after which her mother was unable to reach her.
Rescuers found her dead beneath the rubble, still clutching the body of her beloved dog, as reported by Need To Know.

Known for her curly red hair, Oriana worked as a fashion model and brand promoter.
She described herself online as “a lover of the beach and an ice-cold beer”.
Her social media bio also featured the words: “Fight for your dreams – nothing falls from the sky.”
Just days before the earthquakes, on 18 June, Oriana graduated with a degree in physiotherapy.
Alongside photos from the ceremony, she wrote: “Achievements mean more when you’re surrounded by the people you love most.”

Her body was taken to the forensic medicine institute for post-mortem examinations.
Only heavy machinery now remains at the Moisés building to clear the rubble and demolish what is left of the unstable structure.
Search and debris removal operations are continuing in several affected areas across Venezuela.
