A college football star who recently got engaged has been found dead on a beach after her body washed up on shore.
Bryn Waite was identified at the scene after a beachgoer spotted her lifeless body floating in the water.
The former NCAA women’s football player’s death still remains a mystery – with authorities launching an investigation into her untimely passing.

The 26-year-old had just started a new exciting chapter of her life after moving to San Diego before getting engaged.
The happy couple announced the news just one month before she was found dead on 22 Jul, as reported by Need To Know.
The ex-college star, originally from Anchorage, Alaska, shared her engagement on 15 Jun.
Bryn was discovered on La Jolla Shores Beach in San Diego, California.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, whilst the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that the cause of her death is still undetermined.
During her NCAA career, she played for Central Washington University during the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
According to her loved ones, she had been battling ‘severe mental health conditions’ for the last five years.
Her sister described her as ‘smart, funny, creative, goofy, magical, brave, and sensitive’.
Aislinn Waite said: “My beautiful, brave sister Bryn has passed away unexpectedly. Bryn is my best friend, my soulmate, and my person.
“The world has lost truly the most incredible soul.
“Bryn was the most compassionate and giving person to anyone she came across, saving animals and giving her last $20 to the homeless because they needed it more.
“She was so smart, funny, creative, goofy, magical, brave, and sensitive; I couldn’t imagine who I’d be without her.
“I have learned so much from her about this world and about who I am, and I will take that with me throughout my lifetime.”
The tribute continued: “I was so inspired by her constant ability to get back on her feet and lead with love, always seeing the beauty in everything.
“I was blessed to have such an amazing sister for the last 26 years and would choose her as my person in every lifetime.
“To continue this life without her is truly heartbreaking.
“Bryn has been battling with severe mental health conditions for the last five years.
“She is the strongest person I know and fought so hard, leading with her resilient, loving heart.
“I know she is finally at peace and will be able to be here for everyone in a way that is best for her.”
