An influencer who prosecutors claim was romantically involved with up to 75 prisoners has been ordered to repay almost 6,800 after admitting fraud charges.

Ash Trevino, whose full name is Ashley Lopez-Trevino, pleaded guilty to welfare fraud and fraudulent securing of document execution on 5 August.

The 37-year-old avoided prison and will instead spend two years under community supervision – the Texas equivalent of probation.

She has also been ordered to complete 120 hours of community service and an anti-theft programme, as reported by Need To Know.

Lopez-Trevino must repay 6,799.95 in restitution to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

The content creator has built a huge online following, with more than 500,000 followers on Snapchat and over 132,000 on Instagram.

She has repeatedly sparked controversy by discussing her preference for ‘inmate-hopping’ – dating men who are in prison or have recently been released.

Claims that she had been involved with as many as 75 prisoners emerged in court filings obtained exclusively by TMZ.

Texas prosecutors alleged in the documents that Lopez-Trevino had relationships with approximately “50–75 inmates of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice”.

They claimed some of the prisoners were behind bars for violent offences, including aggravated robbery and murder.

The alleged relationships were raised in documents connected to the fraud proceedings.

Lopez-Trevino did not plead guilty to any offence relating to those relationships.

Prosecutors also criticised what they described as “panhandling” on TikTok.

They alleged Lopez-Trevino had requested financial contributions before disclosing health information concerning a dependant.

The filings also raised concerns over sexually explicit videos and livestreams allegedly posted by the influencer.

Lopez-Trevino was initially arrested in Texas on 17 December 2025 after police said she had active felony warrants.

She was booked into Ellis County Jail before being released on a 5,000 bond.

In livestream clips circulated following her release, the influencer said she had hired an attorney and planned to fight the charges.

But she was taken back into custody in March after prosecutors alleged she had breached her bail conditions.

They claimed she had consumed alcohol at a birthday party on one occasion and bought alcohol at a restaurant on another.

Her legal team denied at the time that she had violated the conditions of her release.

Under the resulting plea agreement, Lopez-Trevino must now complete two years of supervision and the other court-ordered requirements while repaying the money owed to the state.
