Police and mountain rescue teams are searching for a young soldier who has gone missing, with his family growing increasingly concerned.
Liam Potts was last seen heading towards Wylam from Wylam Bridge in Northumberland shortly after midnight on Saturday (August 15).
A large number of police and mountain rescue teams have been in the village of Wylam, with several vehicles including a Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team ambulance at the scene.

The 22-year-old, from Northumberland, is said to be in the Coldstream Guards.
He is described as white, 6ft 3ins tall and of medium build, with dark hair.
He has tattoos down his right arm, as reported by Need To Know.

At the time he was last seen, Liam was wearing black joggers, black Nike trainers and a black T-shirt with large text and a diamond logo on the back.
He was also wearing a gold chain.
Northumbria Police said extensive enquiries are continuing to find Liam, while officers and his family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
A force spokesperson said: “Liam or anyone who knows where he might be should send us a DM on social media or use the live chat and report forms on our website.”
