A man has been accused of breaking into the home of NASCAR star Greg Biffle and stealing cash, guns and racing memorabilia – just weeks after the driver and his family were killed in a plane crash.
Terrell Williams, 44, is has been charged with the burglary at Biffle’s home in Mooresville, North Carolina.
The break-in happened around two weeks after Biffle, 55, his wife Cristina and their two children were killed when their private plane crashed at Statesville Regional Airport in December 2025, as reported by Need To Know.

Around $30,000 (£22,900) in cash, two firearms and NASCAR memorabilia were reported stolen from the property.
Investigators say surveillance footage captured a man spending several hours inside the home.
Detectives later used mobile phone and GPS data to allegedly place Williams at the property at the time of the break-in.
Sheriff Darren Campbell said: “I feel confident that he was there.”
The case remained unsolved for months until Williams was arrested the morning of 2 July by the Cobb County Police Department, in Georgia, who then contacted the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, in North Carolina.
Williams had been arrested in Georgia in connection with a separate burglary.
Police allegedly found stolen NASCAR memorabilia from Biffle’s home in his possession, helping investigators link him to the burglary.
He was charged with multiple felonies, including larceny after breaking and entering, second-degree burglary and safe cracking.
He remains in custody in Georgia while authorities work to transfer him to North Carolina.
Investigators have not ruled out further arrests and the case remains ongoing.
Biffle was one of NASCAR’s biggest stars, winning 19 Cup Series races during his career.
He was killed alongside his wife Cristina, daughter Emma, five, and son Ryder, 14, when their private jet crashed while attempting to land.
The burglary took place as the wider family were still grieving the devastating loss.
Items reported stolen included cash, a backpack, two Glock handguns and racing memorabilia.
Some of the memorabilia has since been recovered.
