Emergency crews raced to the scene after the aircraft came down, with deputies reporting smoke coming from the plane, as reported by Need To Know.
Pictures from the aftermath show the jet sitting battered in a field, with debris scattered nearby.
The aircraft had been flying the doctors into the area to perform surgery, according to local officials.

No patient was on board.
Flight records reportedly show the aircraft had travelled from San Jose to Oakland before departing for Porterville, California.
The crash happened near Porterville Municipal Airport at around 11.45am on Tuesday (1 Sep).

Officials said the aircraft overran the runway before coming to rest near Teapot Dome Avenue and Newcomb Street.
The wreckage was clear of the runway, allowing normal flight operations at the airport to continue.
