Fatim, who was based in the Ivorian city of Abidjan, was a content creator, beauty entrepreneur, and beauty spa manager.
She had 905,000 TikTok followers before her passing.
Most reports put her age at 23.

News of her death spread rapidly across social media, with early reports claiming she had died following complications from the BBL procedure.
The claims were initially attributed to French-language outlet Scoop Afrique, which reported its information had come from a source close to Fatim.
The story was then widely shared online, with speculation mounting that she had travelled to Nigeria specifically to undergo the procedure.
But Bakayoko’s partner later contacted Scoop Afrique directly and disputed the account.

He told the outlet during a telephone call that she had travelled to Nigeria for “personal care” and had not undergone any plastic surgery.
He also said that her body remained in Nigeria at the time of the conversation, and that the exact circumstances of her death have not yet been established.
The conflicting accounts have left the reports surrounding Fatim’s death unclear, with no public medical or official statement confirming the cause.
Bakayoko was a mother to a young daughter and had built a profile through her beauty business and social media presence, as reported by Need To Know.
Her death has prompted renewed discussion online about cosmetic surgery tourism and the risks associated with travelling abroad for procedures.
