A binman narrowly avoided being crushed after jumping off the back of a rubbish lorry moments before a pickup truck crashed into it.
The worker was hit on the leg as the pickup smashed into the back of the lorry, where he had been standing on the rear platform.
He was taken to hospital, but thankfully doctors found no broken bones and he was cleared for discharge later that evening.

CCTV footage captured the heart-stopping moment the binman spotted the pickup approaching and jumped off the lorry in a quick-thinking decision that likely saved him from a more serious injury.
The lorry was travelling along a street when the pickup, heading in the same direction, ploughed into its rear at around 7.11pm on Thursday (15 October).
The worker was still struck on the leg and foot, but avoided being trapped between the two vehicles.
The pickup driver got out after the crash and went over to help the binman, who was sitting on the pavement.
Emergency services were called and took the worker to a local urgent care unit for treatment. The driver was also taken there for a medical assessment.
The crash happened in Altamira, in Brazil’s Pará state, as reported by Need To Know.
The impact damaged the front of the pickup.
Both vehicles were later released after the necessary procedures.
The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
Altamira’s municipal works department said it was following the case and reaffirmed its commitment to the safety of workers carrying out public services.
