Parents dreading the festive toy hunt can breathe a sigh of relief – Tesco has named the toys set to top kids’ wish lists, and none of them will break the bank.
The supermarket’s top 10 puts creativity front and centre, with building sets from Lego and Meccano sitting alongside slime kits and a working mini record player.
TV hits The Traitors and The 1% Club have also made the cut, with official board games to keep the whole family entertained.

Prices start at £5 and the priciest pick is £25, meaning shoppers could buy the entire list for £166.
The line-up was chosen by toy experts from The Entertainer, who select toys and games specifically for Tesco shoppers, with a focus on current trends and affordability.
Classic brands feature alongside current favourites such as Bluey, plus Disney characters from Frozen and Toy Story.

Matt Jackson, Tesco’s head of Strategy and partnerships, said: “With so many options out there, choosing the right Christmas toy to surprise children can be overwhelming.
“This year, our top picks have been carefully chosen by experts, based on current and upcoming trends, and which are likely to be on many children’s Christmas wish lists.
“Toys related to films are always popular with youngsters which is why we’ve included a Lego Harry Potter construction kit and favourites from Toy Story and Frozen.”
For families looking to stir up some festive drama, The Traitors Second Edition Official Board Game sees players work together to unmask the Traitor.

Meanwhile, The 1% Club Board Game lets players show off their common sense rather than their knowledge of obscure trivia.
