A specialist rescue technician was lowered from the aircraft to reach the frightened animal, as reported by Need To Know.
During the dramatic lift, the pooch could be seen humorously paddling its legs in the air as it dangled safely in the rescuer’s arms.
The animal was then brought into the helicopter and flown to a safe area, where its relieved owners were waiting.
The dog was completely unharmed after the ordeal.
