A pack of starving dogs were found trapped in a house after their owner died – having survived by eating his leg.
Attapol Charoenpithak was keeping 28 canines at home.
His neighbour, Sompong Phasuksri, 53, alerted the authorities of concerns after noticing Attapol’s car had been left untouched for a week.

Phasuksri had also attempted ringing the bell but said there was no answer, as reported by Need To Know.
Police visited the residence to do a welfare check on Sunday (27 July).
Upon arriving, they discovered the 62-year-old lying deceased in his bed.
It appeared as though he had died in his sleep.
Disturbingly, however, his leg appeared to have been gnawed off, with police also finding 28 starving dogs in the home.
Authorities called The Voice Foundation to pick up the dogs, with the owner reportedly having agreed to hand over the animals to the charity after his death.
Supawadee Srithassanakarn, a representative of the foundation, led a team of veterinarians to rescue the chihuahuas and Shih Tzus.
Charoenpithak’s body was sent to the Police General Hospital for an autopsy, which found he died due to his multiple medical conditions.
The man, who had lived in Khlong Sam Wa district, Bangkok, Thailand, all his life, was known to have diabetes and hypertension.
