Passersby look at him in shock as he kicks the same deer again.
While thundering along the now cleared path, he casually slaps another deer across its face.
The incident was filmed in Nara Park in Nara City, Japan, last week.
The man was reportedly a Chinese tourist.
Footage of his bad-humoured stroll through the park sparked outrage among residents on social media, as reported on Need To Know.
One local fumed: “No, don’t hit animals just because you don’t like them!”
Another said: “There has to be some sort of an explanation for his lack of empathy.”
Arya wrote: “Why didn’t anyone stop him? I’m actually really surprised.”
According to reports, there was another group of Chinese tourists in the park who were spotted dipping senbei rice crackers into deer excrement on the ground before feeding it to them with a smile.
The alleged incidents prompted angry locals to start patrolling Nara Park to prevent tourists from abusing the deer that gather there every day.
