A man who earned the title of ‘world’s most monstrous bodybuilder‘ and ate seven meals-a-day has reportedly passed away.

The sad news about Illia “Golem” Yefimchyk’s passing was broken by a popular Instagram account (@whoisthebestbb ), on Wednesday (11 September).

The bodybuilding content page told its 204,000 followers: “Close sources confirm the death of Illia Golem, the 340lbs beast. Rest in peace.”

The story was later reported by the “Nick’s Strength and Power” YouTube channel, which has 1.37m subscribers.

Yefimchyk was just under 6’1” tall and weighed more than 348lbs, with his aim of weighing 360lbs, according to reports.

The Belarusian native began bodybuilding as a teenager after being inspired to lift weights by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone.

He reportedly followed a “mass monster” diet that saw him consume up to 16,500 calories per day.

His seven daily meals allegedly included 2.5 kg (5lb 8oz) of steak and more than 100 pieces of sushi.

According to reports, he boasted 25in biceps and could bench-press 600lbs, deadlift 700lbs, and squat 700lbs,

Yefimchyk, who lived in the Czech Republic, didn’t compete professionally but often shared workout videos online.

He boasted more than 100,000 followers and subscribers across his social media accounts, as reported by Need To Know.

His cause of death is a mystery at the time of reporting.

Users flocked to the post to share their condolences.

Mohammad wrote: “Damn, man. I saw him a couple of times before. RIP. Was huge AF.”

Randy added: “Personally, I loved seeing how huge he was and often was envious.

“Nonetheless, it’s a sad development and my heart goes out to his family.”
