A cyclist has died after plunging off a high kerb and cracking his head on the road.
The 29-year-old victim was cycling home from work when tragedy struck.
He tried to jump down from the kerb, but appeared to misjudge the height.

The bicycle plunged to the ground in an almost vertical position as the victim fell forwards.
He then hit his head hard on the tarmac.
The man remained motionless on the ground as several vehicles passed around him without stopping.
According to reports, a passing paramedic eventually pulled over to attend to the injured cyclist.
The helper said the young man had cracked his skull and was haemorrhaging a lot of blood, as reported by Need To Know.
The accident took place on Rei Pelé Avenue in the town of Três Corações located north-east of São Paulo, Brazil, last Sunday (20 Apr).

The victim was taken to the nearby São Sebastião Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
He was heading to his home in the Flora neighbourhood when he suffered the fatal fall.
