A professional escort has shared the tell-tale signs she has witnessed men give off when they are cheating – and some of them are very subtle.
Elizabeth Romanov has been escorting since she was 18 and is now in her early 30s, giving her plenty of experience around married men.
While she doesn’t ask if her clients are in a relationship, over the years she has pinpointed some sure-fire ways to tell either ahead of a date, or while she is with them.

“The signs are there – a wedding ring is somewhat obvious, but some are more subtle,” Elizabeth, who is based in Northamptonshire, told Need To Know.
“One thing that I notice when clients have someone at home is that they will always bring change of clothes.
“Some clients show up wearing one outfit, then change into something for our time together, then switch back before they leave to avoid anyone smelling my perfume or any other traces of our meeting.
“Sudden schedule shifts tend to be a telling sign.
“A lot of my clients will mention that they have told a partner they’re at ‘work drinks’ or ‘last-minute meetings’.
“Sometimes they tell me to rid themselves of the guilt or sometimes it adds to their fantasy – the secrecy and thrill of sneaking around.”
While in the bedroom, Elizabeth said another tell-tale sign that a man may have a partner is if he is being overly cautious.
She said: “If they keep making sure I don’t leave any marks, even on covered parts of their body – little details like that usually mean someone’s waiting for them at home.”
But it’s not all about sex, according to the professional.
She said: “A lot of clients are emotionally checked out from their relationships and that’s why they come to see me.
“Some treat our sessions like therapy and open up about how they feel distant from their partner.
“If your partner is pulling away emotionally, that could be why.”
And for some people, it can be entirely the opposite.
She explained: “Some people go the other way and become more excited for sex with their partner [after meeting an escort].
“They become suddenly more adventurous, trying out things they’ve picked up elsewhere.
“A sudden change in bedroom behaviour can go either way.”
Another thing to look out for, Elizabeth says, is if your partner is being particularly cagey when it comes to their phone.
She said: “Something I notice with my clients who I suspect, or know, are in relationships, is the privacy around their phones.
“They often reiterate in our communication that they don’t want contacted at certain times, or they forget the time of our meeting because they’ve deleted the messages from their phone.
“If someone suddenly changes their passcode, starts taking calls in another room, or guards their phone, this could be a sign that they’re more than just ‘busy’.”
For the seasoned escort, meting up with men that may be in committed relationships is part and parcel of her line of work.
She said: “I’m not here to judge, everyone comes [to an escort] for their own reasons and that’s none of my business.”
Elizabeth travels often for work, recently enjoying a trip to Dubai, but says it is the freedom to work flexible, manageable hours that drew her to the role.
She added: “I’ve also always found the art of seduction and companionship fascinating so it was a natural career path.
“Over time, I realised I had something special to offer, more than just beauty, but an energy, a presence, and an ability to make people feel truly seen.
“I don’t see myself doing anything else – I love it.”
A recent survey by Supercreator, who specialise in management and AI for creators on the OnlyFans, revealed that only the average creator 0.001% makes $300,000 (USD) (£233,000) per month.
With newcomers and less established models earning far less, they often have other means of making money, such as webcamming work or escorting – both of which Elizabeth also does, using site Vivastreet to advertise her services.
