A removal man was left baffled by Londoners’ driving as they completely ignored warning road markings on a busy main road
Lee O’Toole recently visited the capital and couldn’t believe the shocking standards of driving.
Lee witnessed dozens of vehicles driving in a lane he said was meant just for emergency vehicles.
He videoed a long line of traffic apparently oblivious to the meaning.
And he wondered how it hadn’t led to an accident.
It happened on Hanger Lane, in Ealing, west London
“The road there had solid white lines for emergency vehicles only,” Lee, who is based in Nottingham, told Need To Know.
“All the drivers were just ignoring it.
“I visit London about 20 times a year.
“And it’s pure madness at this time of the year.
“I haven’t had a prang in London but you do have to be super aware of other drivers and the buses.
“It has definitely gotten worse over the years without a doubt.
“When you come from a city like Nottingham the driving in London really does stand out.
“I don’t know how there isn’t a crash a minute on every street.”
