The flames engulfed the BMW, which triggered the alarm and caused the lights to flash.
It happened on Sunday (28 Dec) night in Enfield Retail Park, Crown Rd, Enfield, north London.

The car was also parked near Subway and Nando’s.
Witnesses were left shocked, as were fellow motorists who drove into the car park.
A fire engine was seen arriving to put it out.
The cause of the blaze is unknown, as reported on Need To Know.
One shocked local, named Wayne, said: “Imagine going to do some shopping only to find your car on fire when you come back.”

Another added: “Caught fire whilst parked.
“Strange.”
Daniel Turner joked: “Must’ve been a freshly cooked sausage roll.
“They’re so hot.”
James quipped: “Well that’s proof BMWs do have indicators.”

London Fire Brigade has been approached for comment.
