A 27-year-old woman was shot at her own mother’s funeral for reasons that remain unclear.
CCTV footage shows Amanda Arantes and other mourners walking behind the hearse on Friday (27 Feb) when two men on a motorcycle approached from the opposite direction.
The procession ground to a halt as the biker slipped into the narrow gap between the hearse and the pavement.

The pillion passenger drew a handgun and fired several shots at point-blank range.
Amanda tried to flee but collapsed onto the road in Baependi, Brazil, as other mourners scattered in panic.
A small crowd gathered around her, unsure what to do, before she was rushed to a hospital in São Lourenço with three gunshot wounds.
Police said one bullet lodged near her spine, leaving her with difficulty speaking.
She struggled to communicate coherently when asked for details about the attack.
After the shooting, the suspects allegedly fled into the countryside, as reported by Need To Know.
Officers collected casings and bullet fragments from the scene and also found holes in Amanda’s clothing, on her right chest and buttocks.

Some reports say a bullet even pierced her mother’s coffin.
On Saturday (28 Feb), police arrested a suspect following a tip-off about the motorcycle, which was found abandoned in woodland near Baependi along with two helmets and a black jacket matching the CCTV images.
The arrested man had been seen riding the same bike in the weeks before the attack and reportedly gave contradictory statements about its use on the day of the crime.
The case has been registered as attempted murder.
Police are investigating the motive and continue searching for other suspects.
