A woman was mauled by a pack of wild dogs after slipping on the ice.
The victim was finishing her shift at a hotel when the animals attacked.
Luckily, a hotel guest was at hand to scare the canines away.

In the footage, the woman was seen slipping on the ice while apparently running away from the pack.
Seven dogs then quickly surrounded her as she struggled to get to her feet.
The snarling wild animals nipped at her body as she tried to fight them off.
She managed to roll under a parked truck as a man rushed out from the hotel to shoo the dogs away.
The lucky escape was filmed outside the Cholbon Hostel in the town of Neryungri, located in the eastern Russian region of Sakha Republic, last week (25 Feb).
According to reports, one dog managed to inflict a serious bite and the woman was taken to the hospital for treatment and given a rabies shot.
Prior to the attack, the hotel had reported the danger of wild dogs in the area to the authorities on multiple occasions, as reported by Need To Know.
The Russian Investigative Committee has since launched a probe into the matter.
They confirmed that there is a “large number of unmanaged animals” in Neryungri and that the local authorities are not taking sufficient action about it.
In many Russian regions, the issue of stray dogs has been a recurring theme for years.
Under federal law, dogs are captured, sterilised, vaccinated and released, but that doesn’t always solve the problem.
In 2024, the government allowed regions to set their own rules for stray animal management.
This has led to many areas, including Sakha, moving away from the release policy and instead introducing a more aggressive approach, including euthanasia.
