A beauty queen who locals claim is ‘too beautiful to be in jail’ has been arrested for drug trafficking.
Jennifer Dinora Bachez Bolaños is suspected of being involved with drug trafficking networks.
She was arrested by the police as she left a shopping centre in her home city last Wednesday (4 Mar).

The 24-year-old suspect was first arrested at a party in October last year.
At the scene, agents seized drugs, 10 pistols, five rifles, and 393 packages of cocaine, arresting 14 people in the process.
Despite evidence linking her to criminal organisations, she was released after initial proceedings.
But an arrest warrant for her recapture was issued by a court in Escuintla, Guatemala, on 15 December.
The charges include the sale, trafficking, and illegal storage of drugs.
Jennifer managed to evade the authorities in the months since the warrant was issued.
But she was tracked down at the shopping centre on the Palín-Escuintla highway near Escuintla and was recaptured by cops.
The investigation into her alleged involvement with drug trafficking is ongoing.
Jennifer took part in several beauty pageants in Escuintla in 2023.
As well as modelling, she owns a fashion store and a beauty salon in the city, as reported by Need To Know.
She frequently posted photos of her luxury lifestyle on social media, showing her dining at plush restaurants and shopping at expensive fashion stores.
Images of her arrest generated a lot of attention online.
“She’s too beautiful to be in jail,” one local said.
Another added: “How much is her bail? I’ll pay for it.”
Someone joked: “Where is she being held? I want to resolve her legal situation!”
“Why do they blur the criminal’s face but show the faces of the police officers? They do everything backwards in Guatemala,” added Kevin.
One person said: “It won’t be long before they release her and have to recapture her again, hahaha.”
