Mouhib, better known as Baby Gang, is also under investigation for abuse and aggravated assault against his partner.
The probe into the 24-year-old rapper of Moroccan origin, who boasts millions of monthly listeners and regularly sells out concerts, began in February 2025.
Police wiretaps revealed he imposed an “unbearable” life of insults, threats, and beatings on his 22-year-old Italian cohabitor.

Described as “manipulative” and “oppressive”, Mouhib allegedly tracked her every move through cameras installed in their home in Calolziocorte, Italy.
In 2023, he reportedly forced her to quit her job so she could focus “exclusively on domestic chores”.
In July 2025, he discovered she had installed Instagram against his wishes, as reported by Need To Know.
He reportedly shouted: “You b*tch, how long have you had Instagram? Still lying to me.”
He then allegedly struck her eight times, leaving her with a “displaced nasal septum fracture”.
Mouhib, who has a long criminal record, was under curfews and other restrictions, which he ignored.
He even boasted about a trip to Iraq, where he filmed a video “with bazookas, with machine guns, and with Kalashnikovs,” according to judge Gianluca Piantadosi.
Investigators say he had considered fleeing to “Morocco or Palestine”. He is now in custody.
In total, 13 people – many of North African origin – are under investigation, and several firearms have been seized.
