Police believe he shot Tatiane, 34, and Érika, 19, with a .357 calibre revolver before taking his own life in Passos Maia, Brazil.
Érika had recently started university after being accepted onto an accounting course in February, writing online at the time: “Another dream coming true.”

She also worked as a sales assistant in a shoe shop, while her mother was a maths and physics teacher at a local state school.
Acquaintances believe the suspect was bitter over his break-up with Tatiane and carried out the killings in revenge.
A farm caretaker, he and the victims were originally from the state of Paraná, as reported by Need To Know.

On Érika’s 19th birthday, her mother had posted a tribute: “My heart is overflowing with pride seeing who you are becoming: strong, sensitive, intelligent and full of light. You are my daily joy.
“May this new chapter bring you many achievements, learning and happiness. I will always be by your side cheering you on. I love you so much.”
Online, a friend wrote about Tatiane: “You were always special, kind, hardworking and dedicated, a great woman.”
The case remains under investigation.
