A mum-of-two has died in what police are investigating as an apparent murder-suicide.
Meridian Woodson, 28, was found dead after deputies were called to reports of a disturbance at an apartment complex.
Officers discovered the young mother suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside the property.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident happened shortly after 10am last Wednesday (28 May) in the 5100 block of Citrus Boulevard in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, US, as reported by Need To know.
As investigators searched the area, they located a vehicle linked to the case parked outside a nearby business.

Inside, officers found a man with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition but later died from his injuries.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto said the case is being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide.
A fundraising page set up in Meridian’s memory has since been widely shared online, with supporters hoping to raise money for her two daughters following the tragedy.
Meridian, who lived in Elmwood near New Orleans, is being remembered by loved ones as the investigation continues.

Local reports have suggested the incident may be connected to an ongoing custody dispute, although police have not confirmed a motive.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
