The mansion where the infamous Manson murders took place has gone on the market for $85 million.
Known as the Cielo Estate, the nine-bedroom, 18-bathroom pad belongs to ‘Full House’ creator Jeff Franklin – who hosted the reception after Bob Saget’s funeral at the home on Saturday (22 January).

The house is based in Beverly Hills, California, in a prime location – but comes with an eerie history.
Franklin originally purchased the house for $6 million in 2007, though it was not yet completed – having been demolished following the 1969 murders of pregnant actress Sharon Tate, Abigail Folger, Jay Sebring and Wojciech Frykowski.
On the night of 8 August 1969, four members of the Manson family – Tex Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkeln and Linda Kasabian – murdered the group at the home Tate shared with husband Roman Polanski under the direction of Charles Mansion and Watson.
The sprawling property, which sits on 3.6 acres of land, was rebuilt and given a fresh start by architect Richard Landry.
The home spans 21,000sq ft and boasts incredible views of the city, coming complete with an infinity pool, loggia with indoor and outdoor access, home cinema, spa, gym and even a hair salon.

Outside, the pool has three waterfalls, two hot tubs, a 35-foot water slide, swim-up bar, private grotto and a lazy river, as well as a detached guest house for entertaining.
The listing describes the home as “exuding opulence” with “unparalleled luxury”, and the “epitome of world class Beverly Hills luxury living”.
The mansion is currently available with Douglas Elliman Real Estate for $85 million.
