A woman has gone viral on TikTok after trying out a make-up trend – which left her body stained with black lipstick marks that wouldn’t come off for four days.
Pippa Barnes, 18, a content creator from Wakefield, shares her creative and unique make-up looks with her 976,000 followers on the app.
In one of her recent posts, she decided to recreate a trend and make-up look by one of her favourite creators – but it quickly turned into a disaster.

In the original look, red lipstick marks were stamped onto a piece of cling film and transferred across the eyelid.
However, Pippa wanted to put her own spin on the make-up look by using black lipstick and placed the design across her entire body.
In the original clip, which has 7.3 million views and 2.3 million likes, Pippa reveals the final look before she knew her skin had been stained.
She begins by showing herself with no make-up, bright blue hair and wearing loungewear.

As the music plays, she tugs on a piece of rope and the clip cuts to her with black lipstick marks all over her body.
Her fans loved the look – calling her “so talented” – which took four hours to complete and included 30 lipstick marks.
But disaster struck a few hours later when she tried to remove them.
In the second video, which has been viewed 20 million times and has racked up 5.2 million likes, Pippa reveals that she’s “in a bit of a pickle”.
She rubs her thigh vigorously, while saying: “Guys, we may have a slight issue here. Why did nobody tell me that black lipstick stains?”

As she pans the camera up and down, black lipstick marks cover her entire body which don’t appear to be budging.
“OH GREAT HEAVENS,” one viewer said.
Someone else added: “102 Dalmatians now,” followed by a skull emoji.
“The scream I scrumpt for you,” another viewer commented. [sic]
One person said: “SLIGHT ISSUE….?” to which Pippa responded with two crying emojis.
Others offered their advice, by saying: “Oil based removers. I was going to warn you on that video, but it was a bit late.”
“At first I was like, ‘this is hilarious, I have to film this’ but this slowly turned into regret,” Pippa told Jam Press.
“I use [black lipstick] quite often, but for this, I used black gloss as it transferred better – which I have never used before.
“[I usually use] micellar water to take my make-up off, but this didn’t work.
“I used a bunch of different cleansers and had a shower the next day, where I scrubbed my whole body.
“It fully took about three or four days after multiple showers to come off.
“I probably won’t be using that black lipstick again.
“I thought everyone’s reactions were funny and how everyone seemed to care about the staining on my body more than me.
“I guess I’m used to it being a make-up artist, as a lot of products tend to stain.”
