A couple swapped the chilled aisle for the wedding aisle this week after they threw a Peperami themed wedding – complete with meat cake and spicy sausage bouquet.

The ‘red-meat’ wedding took place on Thursday (11 August) at The Tipis at Riley Green, Manchester.
Bride Francesca Brooke-Fenton, 37, a full-time mum who is training to be a hypnobirthing instructor, from Otley and her now-husband Luke Hindmarsh, 33, who works in home renovations, also from Otley, met two years ago – and it was love at first bite.
“We bonded over our love for Peperami for years, we can’t get enough of it!” Francesca told NeedToKnow.online.
“We take it along with us on days out, enjoy it during movie nights and we even have a stash of it on our bedside table so we can easily reach for it from our bed.
The pair recently welcomed a son, Cielo, to their family and couldn’t wait to tie the knot in a very unique way.

Luke said: “It’s fair to say we are obsessed with the snack! I proposed last New Year’s Eve during a hotel stay at a fancy Harrogate hotel whilst Francesca was pregnant.”
So how exactly did the pair take the lunch box favourite and turn it into a day to remember?
Francesca said: “We have always wanted to do something a bit crazy, we are just like that but never thought we had the guts to do it.
“Peperami played a big part of the start of our relationship – we both are genuinely in love with the snack, so it made perfect sense to us to have it become centre stage for our big day.
“I contacted the company about a month ago and expressed our long-lasting obsession for the brand. They agreed to help us plan our dream wedding – we couldn’t believe our luck!”
The pair put out an invitation “calling all meat heads” to their “Peperami-themed wedding” a rather classy nod to the quintessential, if a tad odd, British snack.

Images of the big day show Francesca in a punk style dress inspired by the Peperami wrapper, holding a bouquet stuffed with the spicy sausage.
The ceremony was attended by a Peperami costume clad figure, and the pair even incorporated the mascot into a giant meat shaped cake for guests.
But what did the guests think and did it prove a hit with the inlaws?
Francesca said: “My mum was over the moon when I told her, she said it sounded fantastic. We just want them to experience a unique wedding with us, rather than some of the boring celebrations they’ve been to in the past.”
Luke added: “My friends and family haven’t been too surprised at all they know how much I love Peperami, they all love it too.”
