An Aldi shopper has divided opinion after parking their mobility scooter in a disabled space in the car park
A fellow customer spotted it in the bay close to the entrance of the budget supermarket.
Such spaces are reserved for Blue Badge holders so they don’t have to walk far to and from the store.
But locals were split on whether the user of the mobility scooter should have parked there.
It was spotted in Long Eaton, near Nottingham on 16 June.
One customer said: “Aldi car park today 12:36pm.
“Firstly, you can’t park that there mate.
“Secondly, how disabled are they if they leave it outside the shop?”
Jules Thompson-Ceney said: “Genius level 1000.
“Well played.”
Steve Bardons joked “The valet parked it there.”
Emma Jones said “B*oody brilliant.”
Samantha Bain added: “Perfectly parked, definitely petty rage on your part.”

However, many others were quick to defend the shopper suggesting no one should be judging someone else’s disability.
It is unknown if they are a Blue Badge holder or what the owner’s disability is.
Helah Loader said: “Can people not just live in peace and harmony?”
Marie Grantham added: “I mean, it did make me giggle a little but in all fairness who are any of us to judge someone’s disability?”
Wendy agreed, adding: “Good on the disabled person for being independent and getting out and about in the nice weather.”
Jason Velone said “I am disabled, and this made me laugh.
“It literally would have been me, because someone left a cart which would be my walker, so I try to get exercise in.”
Aldi have been contacted for comment.
