A bear has been caught chilling in a person’s Jacuzzi to beat the searing summer heat.
The brazen mammal was captured taking a dip amid the sweltering 92-degree temperatures on 29 July (Saturday).
In a clip, the cheeky animal can be seen relaxing in the corner of the pool with its arm resting on the edge.
One cop says: “I don’t blame him!”
The homeowner appears to say on behalf of the bear: “Oh you guys, get me a ‘grim’.”
She was possibly referring to the Grimace Shake, a berry-flavoured milkshake on sale at McDonald’s in the US during June and early July 2023.
The cops were called to the home in Burbank, California, US, along with members of the Burbank Animal Shelter and California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
First responders monitored the animal until it left the pool and was observed climbing a nearby tree for an afternoon doze.
The police said: “This bear is beating the heat in Burbank!
“Officers are on-scene after the bear was spotted in a hillside neighbourhood before taking a dip to cool off.”
One person commented: “I love that he’s in the Jacuzzi.” [sic]
Calvin said: “Leave him alone; he’s just chillin’. Bring him a beer.” [sic]
Gina added: “Lol. Vacationing bears.” [sic]
Oscar wrote: “I wanna party with that bear!” [sic]
Dan said: “This heat is unBearable for some animals. At least he went in Bear-footed. Stay cool out there!” [sic]
