Story from Jam Press (Halloween House) Pictured: (Close up) The living room with Halloween decorations. Mum goes viral putting Christmas tree up 11 weeks before holiday – but gives it a scary twist A woman “obsessed” with the spooky season has left social media users stunned after transforming her home – including erecting a Halloween tree. Ashley Driscoll, 39, lives with her partner, Austin, 27, and their two kids, Leighton, 14, and Jace, 13, who all share her passion for the horror holiday. The mum-of-two splashes out at least a few hundred dollars every year and estimates to have spent $5,000 (£4,000) overall over a few years. Her most recent project has taken TikTok by storm, with over 4.9m views and over 141,000 likes. And there’s one particular feature that users are especially impressed by: her Halloween tree. “I love the vibes of Halloween and just the fall season in general,” Ashley, who lives in Ankeny, Iowa, told NeedToKnow.co.uk. “My mom always went over the top for all holidays, and I remember them always being so special. “I want my kids to look back and feel that way as well. “My family loves Halloween just as much as me. “I started decorating on 1 September this year; I always do it early because I do so much and my family and I want to enjoy it for longer. “I have a neighbour friend who loves Halloween as well, and I’d say we are definitely the two houses on our block that do the most.” Ashley, who is the founder of a selfie museum franchise called Selfie WRLD, frequently shares her creative projects on TikTok, where she has 29,700 followers and almost two million likes. She added: “I have actually only spent a few hundred dollars this year on new decor. “Most of what I decorate with has been purchased over the last few years. “I’ve always loved decorating. It’s my true passion. “I was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and went through chemo and radiation. “Thankfully, I’m cancer-free [now

A woman “obsessed” with the spooky season has left social media users stunned after transforming her home – including erecting a Halloween tree.

“I have a neighbour friend who loves Halloween as well, and I’d say we are definitely the two houses on our block that do the most.”

She added: “I have actually only spent a few hundred dollars this year on new decor.

“Most of what I decorate with has been purchased over the last few years.

“I’ve always loved decorating. It’s my true passion.

“I was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and went through chemo and radiation.

“Thankfully, I’m cancer-free [now], but going through that made me do even more for the holidays.

“It really just gives you a new perspective on life and I want to make every single holiday memorable and special for my kids.”

This year, she’s gone all-out with countless pumpkins – including a flashing neon sign – an orange pumpkin skeleton, as well as a regular white skeleton, orange and black pillows, a huge spider hanging off a mirror and much more.

Outside, guests are greeted by a scary path lit up by neon lights, an even bigger creepy crawler attached above the front door, more pumpkins and skeletons, and a sign that reads ‘Dead and Breakfast: Vacancy’.

And let’s not forget the pièce de résistance, the Christmas… erhm, Halloween… tree.
