A mother-of-four died on the operating table as she had mummy makeover plastic surgery at a clinic.
Marlen Alcaraz had gone to get liposuction, lipotransfer, and breast implants.
But as she lay face-down on the operating table about three hours into the procedure, she allegedly had a cardiac arrest.
Staff then called her family to tell them the terrible news.

It is known that Marlen’s complications began before the breast augmentation could be performed.
An unnamed cousin said: “They tried to stabilise her and the cardiologist arrived.
“And he mentioned that there was still some movement.”
But tragically she died in Tijuana, Mexico.
Marlen’s cause of death was recorded as asthma, arthritis, cardiac arrest, and bleeding.

Personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office inspected the hospital after her death on 9 November and ordered an autopsy on the victim’s body.
A fundraiser for her widower and their children has raised $4,675 of its $20,000 target.
The goal of a mummy makeover is to restore the shape and appearance of a woman’s body after childbearing.
The investigation continues.
