An abattoir worker died after being gored by a bull set to be slaughtered.
Kadir Bilen was backed into a corner by the raging animal.
The bull repeatedly gored the electrical stunning operator with its horns.
One of his colleagues desperately tried to open the gate to help free him.
A few seconds later, the bull backed off, leaving Kadir, 55, covered in blood in a heap on the ground.
Several people rushed over to him and tugged on his arms, but they were unable to lift their limp colleague to his feet.
The horror moment was captured on CCTV at the slaughterhouse in a 19-second video.
It took place moments after the bull was led into the pen off the back of a lorry in Suluova, Turkey.
Paramedics were called to the scene and gave the severely injured man first aid.
Tragic Kadir was taken to hospital in nearby Amasya but ended up dying from his horn puncture wounds.
The bull that attacked him was later slaughtered.
Local Aydın said: “May God have mercy.”
