A supermarket worker knocks down an alleged shoplifter by lobbing a plastic bottle of Coca-Cola at him with pinpoint accuracy.
CCTV footage from the store shows how the crook darts towards the exit with a loaded rucksack on his back.
However, his escape route is blocked by some trolleys and a stern security guard.
The thief tries to get out of the store by pushing the trolleys into the guard and towards the exit.
But as he comes within reach of escaping, another worker quietly approaches from behind wielding a bottle of Coke.

From several yards away, he lifts the heavy bottle above his head and lobs it with both hands towards the crook.
A split-second later, the bottle strikes the man on the side of the head, causing him to immediately stiffen up.
As he drops to the floor like a plank, the security guard apprehends him in Viña del Mar, west of Santiago, Chile.
According to local media, he was later turned over to the authorities.
Diego commented: “He even saved the bottle, it didn’t break. Everything went perfectly.”
