Balenciaga has been mocked for selling trousers that are half jeans, half joggers.
The Hybrid Baggy Pants are set to cost £1,500.
They are part of the trendy fashion brand’s Summer 2024 collection.
The left leg is stone-washed blue denim.
But the right one is made up of grey sweat pant material.

They will be ideal for combining night-in on-the-sofa comfort and evening-out style.

One customer named Rael joked: “Sweatpants jeans?”
Another joked: “I could probably make these to be honest.”
A third quipped: “Breakthrough moment in fashion.”

Yet one said: “Love this.”
The product listing reads: “Large fit, three belt loops.
“Semi-elasticated waistband.
“Selvedge denim and heavy fleece.
“Worn-out effect throughout.
“Available soon in selected stores and on Balenciaga.com
Last week, Balenciaga was ridiculed for selling a carrier bag for £2,490 that looked like one from Morrisons.

Three months ago, it started selling a skirt that looked like a towel wrapped around the wearer for £695.

The fashion line is popular with A-listers like Kim Kardashian and footballers like Jack Grealish.
It faced a backlash in 2022 for using kids and bondage bears in an ad campaign.
