A 13-year-old boy died when he was swept into a storm drain during heavy rain.
The horror unfolded as Pablo Oliveira dos Santos was walking home from football practice on Wednesday (28 Feb).
He was with his pals and their coach when he tried to wash his boots in the water flowing down the half-open drain on the roadside.
He was two blocks away from his home at the time.
Pablo fell over and was swept into the closed part of the drain by the force of the current.
