The court held him responsible for the death of Georgina Nayeli Ruezga during a cosmetic procedure on 24 May last year.
According to the investigation, the student and two other individuals illicitly gave Georgina liposuction and fat transfer.
They carried out the clandestine op in a restaurant and office space they’d equipped with some clinical instruments.
They’d rented the space for a few hours after requesting it to perform massages.
They’d originally told Georgina to turn up to another address, only to inform her of the new location the day before the op.
Georgina died from a heart attack after fat entered her bloodstream during the liposuction in Tepatitlán de Morelos, east of Guadalajara, Mexico.
Her body was found on a massage table in a room in the commercial premises the day after the surgery.
She had visible wounds on her abdomen, as reported on Need to Know.
Jorge V went on the run but was later arrested and remanded into custody.
He was found to be in his eighth term of medicine at a private university in Zapopan.
He did not have a plastic surgery specialty.
The latest reports in local media did not comment on the other two suspects.
