A former cop has been arrested after a missing pregnant teen was found dead in a shallow grave
Ana-Maria Guja was reported as missing by concerned relatives on 12 April.
The 19-year-old’s body was found by a stream in the woods eight days later.

She had reportedly sustained a fatal blow to the head and her body showed other signs of violence.
Guja, who was six months pregnant at the time, told her mother that she was meeting a man to do meditation with.
The 45-year-old man, a former Moldovan police officer, is accused of killing Guja before covering her body in a shallow grave with leaves and branches.
It has also been suggested that he may have injected the victim with a psychotropic substance.
CCTV images filmed her getting into the suspect’s car in Chiţcanii Vechi in the Republic of Moldova, as reported by Need to Know.
Prosecutor Ion Munteanu said: “According to the preliminary information we have, the death occurred as a result of a craniocerebral trauma.
“Specialists will answer several questions, including whether there are other bodily injuries in connection with her death and whether there are psychotropic substances in the victim’s blood.”
The unnamed suspect is currently being held in custody for a period of 30 days as the investigation continues.
