A mum-of-one plunged 89ft to her death as she cycled over a bridge
Kelly Stefani de Oliveira Alves was cycling with her husband and their friends when the horror unfolded yesterday (28 Apr) morning.
Witnesses told how she’d put a foot on the low barrier on the edge of the bridge.

She’d then lost her balance and plummeted to the ground below.
When firefighters and emergency medics arrived on the scene, Kelly, 38, was already dead.
She had suffered a cardiac arrest, it’s understood.
Her body was taken from the scene between Cordeirópolis and Limeira, Brazil, to the Limeira Institute of Forensic Medicine, as reported on Need to Know.
Kelly lived in Rio Claro with her husband and their seven-year-old son.
Her Instagram bio says: “I love cycling.”
The bridge where the horror unfolded is called the Ponte do Esqueleto, which translates to Skeleton Bridge.
The authorities in Limeira say it was closed to traffic about 30 years ago but is still used by cyclists and runners.
It’s also used for bridge swinging – an activity similar to bungee jumping in which the thrill-seeker accelerates through an arc under the bridge.
One of the group, believed to be Kelly herself, had filmed themselves cycling along the bridge shortly before the fatal fall.
It’s believed the footage was filmed with a phone, rather than a helmet cam.
According to some reports, Kelly had stopped to put away her phone just before losing her balance.
She had also been snapped with her husband as they posed just inches from the sheer drop.
